The BOP-A-DIPS show is a musical history lesson from the 50's and 60's. Three separate shows feature each distinct era of musical and social history. In these shows each band member takes on a character that the audience will relate to.
The shows include "The School Daze Show" - dedicated to the fabulous 50's, "The Bop-A-Delics" - a flashback to the crazy 60's and "The Beach Party Show" -featuring all your favorite surf and car songs.
BOP-A-DIP performances have been described as "American Grafitti", "The Big Chill", "Vaudeville", and "Pure Entertainment." Any way you look at it, THE BOP-A-DIPS are the VERY BEST and MOST VERSATILE oldies band available today.

Influenced by oldies groups such as Sha Na Na, Flash Caddillac and Butch Wax and the Glass Packs, six students at the University of California at Chico formed THE BOP-A-DIPS in 1972. By 1974 the band was performing throught the United States and Canada and even toured the Far East.
In 1979, after some member changes, the group made their home Missoula, Montana. The Band members have all settled down to families, but still travel and perform all across the Unites States.In 1988 THE BOP-A-DIPS recorded their first record album... “BREAKIN THE FUN METER.” The Lp includes such classics as “The Wanderer,” “Louie Louie,” “Barber Ann,” and “Mony Mony.”
The combined musical experience of “THE BOP-A-DIPS” is well in excess of 100 years, split between five stage members. The band provides a complete technical crew, state of the art lighting and a concert sound system.
